today's announcement is the closure of the TF2 servers.

Contracts with the host are already canceled. Community Forums will follow later.

Our TF2 servers have been online since 15. March 2012 and were known as UberPirates.
Before that it was only a single TF2 server for around 6 Months called "UBER SURF" and before that I've had a small Counter Strike: Source server running only surf_buckwild map with a knife 1v1 plugin that played this song: https://youtu.be/r-5KfGksXtw when both of the last remaining players agreed to a deathmatch.

Hey, there was an issue since the latest TF2 update. Our servers would constantly crash on startup but we've fixed everything and all is working again.

Feel free to join and have some fun times on your favorite servers :)

Changelog:

- Updated VSH servers that were some versions behind the latest saxton updates
- switched two servers to the new VHS 2 beta
- Updated FreakFortress 2
- Updated the x10 servers
- some minor updates under the hood and other smaller things for a better gaming experience

/votemenu is now working as intended.

The following commands are globally available:

"Turn all talk {on|off}" - 60% ratio needed
"Extend map time"- 60% ratio needed - extend time by 10, 15, 25 minutes
"Change the map"- 50% ratio needed
"Mute player"- 50% ratio needed - silences player (mic+chat)
"Ban player"- 70% ratio needed - bans for 15 minutes - also appears on sourcebans (Banned by Vote)

Votes are enabled after 45 seconds after a map change and there is a 5 second cooldown between votes.
