pl_badwater will be run with the stopwatch config.

Stopwatch maps are played in 2 or 3 separate match-rounds, each team attacks once in each match-round.
The Home team has choice whether to attack first or defend first in the first match-round only, alternate thereafter.

Match-round 1: Team A attacks and Team B defends, Team B attacks and Team A defends
Match-round 2: Team B attacks and Team A defends, Team A attacks and Team B defends.
Match-round 3 (if needed as a tiebreaker): Team A attacks and Team B defends, Team B attacks and Team A defends.

Scoring: When adding scores, each match-round won by a team counts as 1 point. The first team to win two match-rounds wins the match.

Overtime: If each team wins a match-round and scores are tied at 1-1, the third full match-round is played as a tiebreaker, with all the same settings as the first two rounds.
Possible match scores are (2-0 or 2-1).

This is a very fun map to play in highlander. We tested it last year in our summer season. The map author Arnold is also the creator for cp_gullywash. He's been tweaking with croissant for highlander the last year or so.

This week's Highlander map is cp_croissant_rc6 Server operators will want to run the ugc_hl_standard config for this map. Make sure that you execute the config before you change the map in order to get the STV running properly.

Match play & Scoring: The winning team is the first to score 5 TOTAL round wins or the highest score after two halves of up to 30 min each, whichever comes first. The first half will end when one team scores 4 round wins or the timelimit of 30 mins is reached; the second half ends when a team scores the 5th TOTAL round win, or when the second 30 min timelimit is reached. OT: A tied total score results in an Overtime (OT) round, which is played to first round score.

Overtime: A tied score of (1-1, 2-2, 3-3 or 4-4) after two 30-minute match-rounds requires a tiebreaker Overtime (OT) round. The OT round is played as a normal match-round, except the first all-cap score wins the match.
If neither team manages to capture all points during the OT round, a special "sudden death" round is played. During this round, players are not allowed to leave spawn after death, and the team that captures all points or eliminates all enemy players wins.

This week's exciting Highlander action is going to take place on koth_lakeside_final. For this week's match make sure that your server is running the ugc_hl_koth config. Remember that you can pick up the most recently updated versions of our configs and whitelists in our Highlander Files section of the website.

Match Scoring for KOTH
The winning team is the first to reach 4 TOTAL cap points wins in the match.
The match is played in two 'halves'; The first half plays until one team reaches 3 total cap points. The second half is played until a team reaches 4 cumulative cap scores. Points are the total of both halves.
No Overtime: No tie is possible, teams play until one team reaches 4 points total. Possible match scores are [4-0 or 4-1 or 4-2 or 4-3] only, no other scores are accepted.

You play best of 3 rounds. Only possible scores are 2-0 or 2-1. Full cap = 1-0 or if it ends with the cart on enemies side you win that round.

Try to agree on a day and time as soon as possible. Once you agree make sure you tell W4keLife, SPADE ACE, Tommy, or myself that you need a server to book. Please don’t wait the day of match. This is only preseason so this doesn’t count towards the overall team record. It’s just for practice and getting new teams up to speed.

This week the games need to be played by Tuesday, so the schedule can get made for the following week. Regular season will begin next week with koth_lakeside_final. The schedules will normally come out every Wednesday/Thursday and you have til Tuesday to play it.

Due to an unforeseen glitch in our offsite raffle, some entries may have been lost. We have moved it to the UGC website and are extending the entry deadline to midnight EST on 12/23. Go to the main UGC website and login by steam to check that you entered in the raffle. The results will be announced on Christmas Eve.
