Map Rules
Swiftwater is a "stopwatch" map. Stopwatch maps are played in 2 (or sometimes 3) separate Match-rounds where each team attacks once in each Match-round. Each Match-round awards one (1) match-point to the team with the shortest offensive time. The Home team has choice whether to attack first or defend first in the first match-round only, alternate thereafter.

Match-round 1:
Team A attacks and Team B defends,
Team B attacks and Team A defends

Match-round 2:
Teams manually switch sides.**
Team B attacks and Team A defends,
Team A attacks and Team B defends.

Match-round 3 (if needed as a tiebreaker):
Teams manually switch sides again.**
Team A attacks and Team B defends,
Team B attacks and Team A defends.

Scoring: When adding scores, each Match-round won by a team counts as 1 point. The first team to win two Match-rounds wins the entire match.
Overtime: If each team wins a Match-round (scores are tied at 1-1), the third full Match-round is played as a tiebreaker, with teams alternating sides one more time.
**If the config is not manually re-executed, it will automatically switch teams to the correct side at the start of the round, which is why you need to manually switch sides before the start of the next Match-round..

Possible match scores are 2-0 or 2-1.

Map Execution (for server operators only)
1. Authenticate to your server with rcon_password ( rcon_password myP4ssw0rd ).
2. Execute ugc_HL_stopwatch.cfg from the developer console ( rcon exec ugc_HL_stopwatch.cfg ).
3. Reload the map. This is necessary for sv_pure to take effect and for Source TV to start recording ( rcon changelevel pl_swiftwater_ugc ).
4. Re-execute the ugc_HL_stopwatch.cfg to start a fresh log file and make sure everything is in order.

******I’m giving walaos and Velvet Head a chance to play double elimination scenario which we do in our other divisions. If both teams agree to this then read below.*******


Double-Elimination (DE) brackets will be Best-of-3 full-length season 9 maps.
• Undefeated team chooses map 1 & 3.
• Loser's bracket team chooses map 2.
• Maps are played in full as in regular season. This means Payload and A/D are played to Best-of-3, KOTH to 4, 5CP to 5. Teams may agree to play KOTH and 5cp as 1 regular-season round (or "half") if they want to shorten it (KOTH to 3, 5cp to 4), but both teams must agree in match comms. Payload and A/D WILL be played Best-of-3, no exceptions.
• No Thursday match.
• Only maps played in regular season or playoffs of Season 9 are valid to choose from. Furthermore, ctf_haunt and pl_waste cannot be chosen.

Thie is the last week of regular season play. Make sure all games are turned in by Tuesday. Playoffs brackets will be posted Wednesday next week. Top 16 will make the playoff bracket. 4 teams will miss the playoffs.

Config and Whitelist
New Whitelists are out. Beggar’s Bazooka and Beggars Bargain are now banned.

This week's exciting Highlander action is going to take place on cp_process_rc2. For this week's match make sure that your server is running the ugc_hl_standard.cfg. Remember that you can pick up the most recently updated versions of our configs and whitelists in our Highlander Files section of the website.

Match Scoring for 5CP
Match play & Scoring: The winning team is the first to score 5 TOTAL round wins or the highest score after two halves of up to 30 min each, whichever comes first. The first half will end when one team scores 4 round wins or the timelimit of 30 mins is reached; the second half ends when a team scores the 5th TOTAL round win, or when the second 30 min timelimit is reached. OT: A tied total score results in an Overtime (OT) round, which is played to first round score.

Overtime: A tied score of (1-1, 2-2, 3-3 or 4-4) after two 30-minute match-rounds requires a tiebreaker Overtime (OT) round. The OT round is played as a normal match-round, except the first all-cap score wins the match.
If neither team manages to capture all points during the OT round, a special "sudden death" round is played. During this round, players are not allowed to leave spawn after death, and the team that captures all points or eliminates all enemy players wins.

Map fixes
b3 is the latest version. UGC has worked with the map author to fix the fps and crash issues that people were having. He also fixed the bugs on the map and no more building on top of the buildings.

Match Scoring for KOTH
The winning team is the first to reach 4 TOTAL cap points wins in the match.
The match is played in two 'halves'; The first half plays until one team reaches 3 total cap points. The second half is played until a team reaches 4 cumulative cap scores. Points are the total of both halves.
No Overtime: No tie is possible, teams play until one team reaches 4 points total. Possible match scores are [4-0 or 4-1 or 4-2 or 4-3] only, no other scores are accepted.
