We are Turians and proud that we are!

We are known for our militaristic and disciplined culture, we turians were the third race to join the Citadel Council. We gained our Council seat after defeating the hostile krogan for the Council during the Krogan Rebellions. We turians deployed a salarian-created biological weapon called the genophage, which virtually sterilised the krogan and sent them into a decline. We turians then filled the peacekeeping niche left by the once-cooperative krogan, and eventually gained a Council seat in recognition of our efforts.

The Turian in the picture is Captain Gavorn.

And we all know who our favourite Turian is.... GARRUS!
