Here comes the day where sf2 goes public again! After going private sometimes after being public! (If you are confused just remember, sf2 is public now)

You have been all a great community, I'm sure Kit o' Rifty is proud of you all. Together (me, staff, and community) we have continued making SF2 a great mod and didn't leave it die.
But I have to go too, just like my predecessor Kit o' Rifty, and I hope someone or a group of people will take back the mod just like I did and continue improving it!
Of course I'll still be there to fix some small bugs or add small features but don't expect anything big from me anymore.

Now without further waiting here comes the big changelog!

Hey everyone, the Classic Update is now available for all of those that have been waiting to play it. For server hosts, this update includes 3 new maps and a boss pack, along with bosses that were around before the 0.1.8 update.

So whats different about the Classic Pack? Well, the classic pack has bosses that were around before the big update that saw SF2 move to using a navmesh for AI navigation, as a result of this, it includes bosses that are usually restricted to one map only, or have different stats compared to their current counterparts, however due to the many changes that occured with how SF2 handles the stat values from then and now, this is just a replication of what it was like.

Reports of server lag when running the Eight Pages map, we're looking into it so expect a map update later on. Will probably announce it.

Download issues with BEN & Slowerno with Linux Server to Windows Client communications. This can be resolved by having two folders with Upper and lower case "CoF/cof" "Empty_Link/empty_link"

Hey everyone, I have an announcement and a trailer to share with you all today, this has been something I started on back in late April and it's nearing it's final completion, but before that I want to share with you a trailer and some screenshots of the upcoming stuff.

This update is aimed at bringing back some maps and bosses that were around during the beta of Slender Fortress, yes, for other servers, this is a map pack that comes with custom bosses. For everyone else, you get to have a similar experience to what it was like back in the old days of the mod. When I mean similar of course, there has been some changes to these maps, with improved waiting rooms and general fixes to the play area's themselves.

Hello everyone, the 0.3.2 version has been released! If some of you are wondering, why the 0.3.0 and 0.3.1 update were not announced, it's because they were bug fix update.

This update brings a lot of new contents for raid maps and fix some issues with boss pathing.

Changelog:

• Gameplay fixes:
  
  • Fixed an issue where proxies could spawn in pvp area.
    
  • Fixed a bug where proxies could damage the boss.
    
  • Fixed an issue where the boss could get stuck on stairs.
    
  • Fixed an issue where over-sized hitboxes could cause laggy movement for players.(See note)
    
  • Fixed an issue where the boss could block doors.
    
  • ProcessClientVisibilty is only now called ~10 times/sec in order to remove server lags when there's a lot of players in red.
    
  • Bosses can no longer jump on nav areas with the tag no jump.
• Raid mode changes:
  
  • The pvp trigger is no longer required in raid maps in order to make reds have their weapons.
    
  • Bosses are now always attacking the players on raid maps (no idle state ect).
    
  • A boss can now drop an entity that can trigger a relay/open a door in the map via 2 cfg keys.
    
  • Faster uber charge rate on raid maps during grace period.

Hey everyone, it's been a long time right? Yeah, it has been, I'm here today to introduce Benoist, he's been working with me for sometime now, hunting down and fixing up many bugs across SF2, I've also been working with him to bring a huge content update to the gamemode. But today, we're announcing an update to the gamemode itself to prepare everyone for an exciting year.

Greetings, I'm Benoist. (If you are not sure on how pronounce my name call me ben).

So I'm updating Slender Fortress for the past few months. And I'm trying to improve It as much as I can. Kit has told Glub, that my work is really good, and I think it's worth the announcement.

So what are the changes?

Changelog:

• General Changes:
  • Fixed players being able to switch to red and talk to them.
    
  • Prevented Red players from being able to attack each other on raid maps.
    
  • Prevented Red players from being able to use jointeam/autoteam to suicide during rounds.
    
  • Reworked player's outlines to support custom models.
    
  • Fixed page music playing during escape phase.
    
  • Fixed an exploit where the engineer could use the eurekka effect wrench and break the gamemode.
    
  • Fixed a crash related to bumper cars.
    
  • Fixed a rare bug where players could survive the time limit.

Also, I don't want to be mean, but this is kind of directed at other server hosts.
Please, don't spend your time trying to copy my server, I'd like to see people try to do unique and different things with SF2, this is the whole reason why the gamemode ended up in a limbo state, everyone just wanted to obtain what I was working on in any way possible and, I don't want to see this gamemode dying again like last time due to pointless fighting.
