ABOUT ResiMods

Rules/Guidelines for my mods

Rules:

1. Always be positive

2. Keep chat clean

3. No abusing your "power"

4. Use the group chat for all talks/discussions or contact to me during a stream.

5.

Guidelines:

1. At all times remember that being a mod you're representing me and my channel. Even if you're in someone else's channel you're still representing me. Make sure it looks good. I need to be able to trust my mods 100% so i can focus on the stream and make sure people are enjoying their time there.

2. Something happens ingame or in chat what to do?
Let people have their discussions as long as it is not effecting the stream
and/or gameplay but at the same time make sure that everyone can feel welcome in chat. If something needs to be done to stop or handle it
there's a couple ways to handle it. 1st ask them to change subject or something similar. 2nd time do a timeout (NOT BAN).
Then whisper the person and try to sort it out there in order to keep chat
clean. If the person comes back in after the timeout and keeps going on
the same subject then timeout again and whisper them "last warning before
ban". 3rd time someone tries to be annoying its a permaban. If the person
keeps being annoying but with different things give them a little bit more
wiggle room but make sure they know that if they keep going they will get
perma banned. Like i said further up i need to be able to trust my mods
100% so that means if you guys timeout or ban someone i dont have to
ask what happened i will know that it was done properly. HOWEVER i also want to make sure that all of you awesome mods dont swarm the same person so if you take the 1st step and ask someone to change subject it is also your responsibility to follow up on any of the future punishments to that person. It will be done like this so you dont all whisper the same person. Of course if you suddenly have to go you are more than welcome to ask one of the other mods to takeover just make sure you copy paste the info to them and preferably in the steamgroups chat room so we can all see.

3. Moving forward we will be using this groups chat room to have talks and discussions as well as it will be a place where all of you lovely folks can get in contact with each other if you need to do so. It will also be used to send me messages during a stream.

@arkicorn the guidelines is for all cases. In the case you proposed it would be to follow the normal guidelines but skip the first "verbal warning in chat" so that means timeout and then straight to whisper for warning and then just follow the rest of the guidelines. thanks for bringing it up i will add it to the guidelines section later on <3

Cant see it in the guidelines, if some random comes in chat with direct insults I would time him out right when he did or should we act like the thing with the annoying persons with the whispers? What I mean is, I wouldnt just leave that kinda messages in chat you know? ;)
