There are multiple trading outposts scattered around Chernarus. You MUST respect these trading outposts because they are protected by the safezone rules, which can be found in the discussions tab. Anyone caught breaking these rules will be at the mercy of the owners, security and the safezone Police Departments. Depending on the severity of the offense, it may result in a ban. A repeat offense will result in a permanent ban.

There is a trade currency for the PhantomsRP server, and it is 7.62x54mm ammunition. Every vendor/caravan has their own price for items. These prices must be somewhere near the default price list shown in the discussions tab. Trading with vendors/caravans will almost always require 7.62x54mm ammunition. Trading with regular players may also require 7.62x54mm ammunition. This ammunition is moderate in rarity, but can be found almost anywhere in small amounts. The SVD and the Mosin are the only two weapons in the game that take this kind of ammunition.
