The reason for PHX's collapse in PS2 isn't any mutiny or player-created event. Instead, the developers can take full credit for PHX's collapse in the form of the damned "forced population balance" update that made daily outfit operations difficult and OPFOR training outright impossible. I completely lost interest in the game as it became painfully obvious Daybreak was catering to the CoD crowd instead of those wanting the large-scale organized warfare that other games simply don't provide.
Unless the forced population balance is removed, I have zero interest or intention of returning to Planetside 2. There are too many other games I can enjoy that don't go out of their way to ruin my ability to play the game with friends. For all I care PS2 can catch fire and fall into a canyon. Game's already dead in my book.
