First of all, it is great to see your enthusiasm for the game. But to
continue our conversation, perhaps I did not explain the issues as best
as I could. It isn't just the recording of new voices, it is the fact
that those voices will have to be loaded into active memory, as well as
the new character rig. To create this new character type will cause an
increase in memory usage for all players. Unlike the Xmas update where
we replaced the existing content, this would be adding additional
content that must always be in memory. This could and most likely will
cause problems for our low spec users, some of who already showed
problems with the xmas update which used more memory than default KF
content.

We know this is something not only the female KF community wants, but a
large section of KF players as a whole. But do to technical reasons, we
have to be very careful moving forward. This is why have have not
committed to female players at this time. It has nothing to do with
discrimination as you seem to be suggesting in your steam page. However
I think it is fairly safe to say we underestimated female interest in
KF, but we also underestimated interest in KF as a whole. We never
expected it to be as popular as it has become!
