K-Town Brawlers

What is K-Town Brawlers? K-Town Brawlers (KTB) is a fighting game league in Killeen, Texas. We play fighting games both casually and competitively. We share our love of fighting games and pretty much anything else that anyone is excited about. I believe that one of the current trends is MLP (My Little Pony) and some type of MMO/RPG (Torchlite II, Warcraft, LoL, Diablo, etc)

While most of the members have been around for years and have grown up here, others migrated (haha...migrated) to this awesome town from other parts of this universe. Mainly due to the military (rarely because they were ousted by Sentinels or Storm Troopers)

KTB grass roots lies behind members meeting for the first time at one time, popular arcades. To name a few: Putt-Putt Golf and Games, Tilt (which is still around), various 7-11s/Mickey's, and Stix (the pool hall next to IGA) formerly a name I don't remember at this time, lol.

KTB was founded in 2009 by Rodolfo Camarena. A Killeen native who spent the previous 11 years outside of Texas serving in the United States Marines. Upon moving back, he began organizing tournaments, meetups, and growing the local scene using his experience learned living on both the East and West coast.

Headed by both Rodolfo Camarena and Steven Nguyen, Killeen's group (KTB) has put the city, Killeen, back on the minds of the Texas fighting game community with the release of Street Fighter IV in 2008 and having players who can compete on the same level as teams from Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas to name a few. Urging players to travel to events to gain experience and learn, KTB has gone only up from there.

... I'm tired and will finish this later, lol. I was suppose to be working on my car when I had to come in to wake the kids up for school and began checking my FB.
