Fun times. Except for all the war and that.

We aim to gather a small, reliable group of decent sorts to play HoI3 with. We're using Their Finest Hour, with no mods as yet. Current checksum should be GSKH.

Our current rules are:-

- Major Nations must play historically until 1939 Danzig Event. Minor nations may declare war ONCE before this. It is advisable to discuss these minor wars with nearby major powers first.

- War Goals for minors should be agreed with faction leader first.

- Players are expected to trade openly with others prior to war as long as they can still maintain a healthy surplus in any trade resource.

- Austria is not a playable country, for game balance reasons.

- No Guarantees of Independance, unless by event.

- NAPS are negotiated by Germany and USSR on behalf of their faction members (and future members). Any secret contents of a NAP will be contained in a PM between faction leaders. Any non faction nation not covered in the NAP's secret agreement cannot be DOW without breaking the NAP. If a NAP is broken the other-side can withdraw from the NAP.

- Do not disband units that hopelessly surrounded or otherwise cannot retreat to saftey as a means of preserving MP.

- Play to best serve your country, not your faction.

- Don't kill retreating units by Paradrops and don't try to make a country surrender with only paradrops to VPs

- No passive wars just to gain policy bonuses.

- No excessive logistical bombing in and around capital cities.

- Coups are banned.

- A nation may have a maximum of six IC in the production queue at any one time.

- Radar sites may only be built through the province interface. It is not allowed to build them 'freely' in the production queue and then stack them in one province.

- With two exceptions, the USA can enter the war only when the following conditions are met:
* France has fallen
* Britain has no major offenses going on in France or Germany (larger than 1 corps)
* Japan declares war on the Allies

Only when all of these are in existence can the USA join the war. There are however, two exceptions:

A) If Germany lands any troops in the main island of the UK, the USA can automatically join
B) If both the USSR and France have fallen, then both the USA and Japan can enter the war at will

- USA may not move troops, naval vessels, or aeroplanes further West than Hawaii/Midway (TBD) in the pacific until they join the Allies. This rule is cancelled by 1942 even if Axis has not declared war upon them

- Japan, Germany and Italy can only rebase to each other’s spheres of interest if they can reach it with a “transport” order.
