HAWKEN is now in OPEN BETA

If you're American or European, you're in luck, all servers are currently hosted in your country and ping should not be an issue!

Everyone else, bad news, Australians will have around 200-800 ping on average and suffer horrifically.

General discussion so far:
The beta is open, you are now free to discuss and post anything from the game, including your callsign without issues.

Players will lose whatever mechs and stats they had in the alpha and get access to 4800 points to spend on the new mech tree. EXP tree is now also reset and you can begin building your stats from scratch.

Open beta is upon us, and now we can add callsigns. Seems like a lot of the game has been overhauled from the alpha, sadly, we still dont seem to have server support outside of Europe and America, but it can't be that far away.

A nice /v/ goer has let me know how to load maps with AI via the console while server support is down. Thanks to him

Press ~ to bring down the console.
Type: open (map name here)
For example: open DM-Sahara
The map will load.
Type: AddBots N
Subsitute any number for N.
