\ Project borealis is in development but there are no recent news.. only a couple of screenshots on their instagram page

We are some of the last hl fans out there.. but we still strong!
Our hope is not dead. Our dream is not dead. The day will come and hl3 will release! We will not give up hoping thats what our father gaben wants for us to not lose hope.

Half-Life is considered the best game of all time and there's a reason for that,
it was notable for innovating in many parts of game design. And most importantly a story experienced in play rather than told to you in cutscenes.

So when Half-Life 2 Episode 2 ended with a cliffhanger. Players waited so long for the continuation of the story but.... it never came..... Silence fell on valve with little concept arts and frequent mentions of the possibility of a sequel. Then we kept our hopes of getting a sequel. Not until Mark Laidlaw before leaving Valve released a fanfiction titled Epistle 3. Many players think this was the END of the half-life series... But they were wrong. A small team of dedicated players decided that if valve wouldn't be bringing the continuation of the Half-Life series, then they would. This would become Project Borealis.

Project Borealis is a group of over 60 people wanting to bring Epistle 3 to life and reviving the Half-Life Series.

The dissapointment train has arrived... We can all die know knowing how half life 3 will end.... Sad.. We dont wanted it to end this way...
