What the hell happened today.

Today was not an easy day, let me tell you what. While our initial fear was that the Swamp Biome was going partially demolish our main base, it was the Snow Biome that ended up throwing the wrench in the works. All of our exclusively aquatic dinosaurs were very suddenly in great peril, and it took some pretty freaking amazing teamwork to save all of them. Thank you guys and high five, you know who you are.

Dinosaurs that could be carried were relocated to our new beach location at 60,15 on the giant sand-bar/peninsula to the south west. Larger dinosaurs were brought to Dodo HQ on the Cliffs of Dodover above Detroit, you can store them there until you're able to get your feet back under you.

The entire large 'Rock Peninsula' on which we'd based our 'Beginning Zone' was taken over by the Winter Biome. At one point BORIS the Bronto was employed to hold off 22 individual Argentavis, as well as a sprinkling of saber cats, scorpions, and a carno as they tried to destroy our Itchies. Even just managing to keep the bad things away from our pets was becoming a full time job, and a snap decision was made to move our 'Beginning Area' south, to a more temperate and less hateful climate.

The Dodo beachfront property has a few things in it to help you get started and can act as a temporary holding pattern until you're able to set yourself up again, hopefully somewhere nearby. The area is right across the bay from West 3 spawn point, and has a pretty sturdy supply of all the basics, and boy oh boy do we need the basics .

We could some help in the next few days, and anybody can do these things. We need Stone, Wood, and Thatch by the droves. Shoving these on BORIS or in the new Dodo Beachfront would help us tremendously as we try to rebuild what we had, which was a safe home for our aqua-monsters.
We are still continuing with our efforts to make our base the most metal thing on the island starting this next weekend. We have myriads of metal and now need Keretin/Chiten like crazy. We're also looking for someone to go out and tame a couple of the new toad mounts, or 3 or 4 Diarwolves, OR a mammoth. Or even if someone would finish the roof on the new beachfront house, that'd be great.
