Since I got my mitts on Braid from the Midweek Madness, the first review may as well be something I have fresh in my mind.

Braid is a game which is impossible to die in, and for one reason. When you get hurt, you're prompted to press the shift key. Why? Becuase holding that will rewind time. This has no limit. If you ran about doing nothing for 15 minutes and rewound, you would end up right back at the end of the stage. There are also items that glow green. These aren't effected by time. And, ad I found out today, if you stand on these items, you won't be effected either. What's the use of this you may ask? As you rewind time, you won't move, but the world around you will. If a door is restricting you from getting a collectable, it'll now be open for you to run into. Later on in the game, this whole rewinding time malarky changes. Oh, sure, you can rewind time with shift, but as you run forward, time will flow. Stop, time stops. Run backwards, time rewinds. This poses a whole plethora of new challenges. Along with this, the player reads a story about a man called "Tim." Luckily, at the time this review is written, the game hasn't been completed, so no spoilers here. However, if it concerns the opening scene, it appears to be something intriguing indeed. Along with the gameplay, the soundtrack for Braid is amazing. The music that involves Violins on their own are like ecstasy for the ears.

One of the things about Braid is that some of the puzzles will likely confound you to no end. This is to be expected from a Platformer/Puzzler, but it can annoy you if you're stuck with one collectable left to get and you can't figure it out. Even if you're tempted to look at a Walkthrough, I urge you not to. Some of the puzzles are briliiantly thought out and the person who made them deserves every penny this game earns them.

All in all, Braid has recieved alot of Positive attention, and for good reason. If you can, I would urge you to pick this up if you're into platformers or puzzle games.
You certainly won't be disappointed.
