An obituary to the thousands of neglected Steam Groups slowly withering into a lonely death

Community groups : are user-created hubs where members can share interests, coordinate gaming activities and host discussions in group-specific forums.

It takes less than a minute to create a new Steam Group. But, while it may be easy enough to set up a Steam Group, growing and maintaining it requires consistent effort.

Unfortunately, I've been observing lately that a lot of these Steam Groups have no activity, events, announcements. etc. and seemed to be abandoned by their creators/administrators. And I ask myself, "Why the hell create a group in the first place and just neglect it?"

In Memoriam, we will announce and feature these particular groups on a regular basis which are still around but are untouched by their creators/founders.

A Steam Group may be declared dead or officially dormant if it was created back in 2014 or before, and/or contain virtually no active discussion threads or announcements for the past Five (5) years. These are, by and large, not active communities, but one-off creations that a few dozen people joined and seemingly forgotten about shortly thereafter.
