To Godcheese and others, it has crossed my mind to start a server based in the US for players who play at a higher level. This would be a good destination for players who continously pub stomp in the other servers and/or have been unjustly banned. The problem: Would it be sustainable at this stage of the game? Are there enough competitive players left within the player base? Could you maintain traffic in a server that wasn't exactly noob friendly? I am talking about assembling a group of NBKs; a place where a player can test his mettle. Have you and Fallen ever discussed wanting to play in a more competitive environment? I know that Mr. Sad and myself have had this conversation many times.

I am at a crossroads with this game. I have really enjoyed playing it, but I have had some real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ experiences revolving around this game, too. Any who reads this feel free to comment.

LPG, I have been banned there before, but whoever was the main admin at the time overturned the ban. That was quite some time ago. More recently, they spec'd me hard when I played on their server. I have seen many players post in the Steam forums over the life of the game that LPG could be a mixed gaming experience. Some good, some bad, but many people complained about getting banned.

For all the players with good pings to Great Britain, I found another server yesterday that offers regular TDM on the original maps. It is "[F.M.J] Extreme Gaming!" found in the Black Ops 1 server browser. Here is their Gametracker page:

I played a couple of hours with them yesterday and they are a great group of guys. Be sure to tell your friends!

Some dude who was wallin' GoGo_Monz, I checked his steam profile for indicators of past cheating, none to really notice but still... switched to the ultimate invisibility kit and did some testing on GoGo before I officially called him out. Sure enough, suspicions were accurate. I said "♥♥♥♥♥♥ is wallin" then pointed him out. Admin tells me to watch my mouth, absolutely - I ceased using offensive language. Then I noticed the guy left after I called him out. So I said something to the effect in chat, and the admin goes on some trip like "No one has any power over anyone to make them do anything". To which I replied "Or he got called out, and bailed?" Then the admin is all "now you have to go for running your big fat mouth". In a world of dwindling population you would think he would appreciate someone mentioning someone cheating on his server, but nope.

Recommend avoiding them.

Hey guys, so I got banned from Lucifers Playground for calling out someone who was obviously wallhacking. [LPG]Mephistopheles is some power tripping admin with no sense of how to run a server.
