I wouldn't mind a simple (maybe) addition, where we can sort resources by categories, like 'homegrown' food especially
so, LOTS of animals can still be added.
Buildings wise, some kind of cold storage for meat to increase shelf-life using ice gathered in winter. Salted meats as well, with maybe those being what is traded vs fresh.
To increase difficulty added in variable weather, late/early frosts damaging crops, blights, animals getting sick.
I'm also hoping for some difficulty options as well, but I don't imagine anything I've mentioned would make it into an alpha. With alpha, you're still adding and evaluating fundamental gameplay functions.
