i agree, this should be a thing.

as a temporary fix you are able to limit your FPS via your gpu settings. both nvidia and amd have this option now. if you have an amd gpu and have trouble finding it, hit me up :)
I cant limit fps via amd control panel....

Why would you want to limit your FPS?

Because you should limited you fps to your monitor refresh rate. More fps are useless and your hardware don't need to go all out.

that's wrong. higher fps will ALWAYS result in a better experience. even if your monitor is locked on 60hz, 250fps will look smoother than 60.

Nope, THAT is in facts wrong. Only a few games make that right, engine wise like counter strike. Most games don't do that.

Try it. 144 FPS on 60hz Monitor and then 144FPS on 144Hz Monitor.

Iff you want to burn your CPU and do unnessesairy damage to your computer, keep at it m8.

1700 FPS on unity is a hefty toll for CPU's no matter if you can run it or not. It doesnt warrant your hardware lifespan as that will be cut drastic short.

of course 144fps will look better on a 144hz monitor than on a 60hz monitor? i'm not sure what your point is. doesn't change the fact that 144fps on 60hz looks better than 60fps on 60hz.

why would i burn my hardware like that? i haven't mentioned those kind of numbers anywhere. don't know what your point is over here. i still cap my fps on 90 on my 60hz monitor for this game.

Yeah, under 10 seconds with 1700 frames will definetly burn your computer. Wake up.

you dont need more than 60 FPS on a 60 Hz Monitor in 98% of all Games. Its fact and stated my some real compurer magacines/forums etc. Its a 100% fact.
