You can search for a specific game in the fanatical orders, otherwise you likely got it in a bundle you bought at the end of 2022.
They said they've contacted steam to try and get something sorted so you might not have to do anything.

What about people that don't use discord? It is a trash product.

You'll then have to wait for Steam support to forcefully return the game to you.

I got it from a friend. That friend passed away. I have no way of finding out how or where he got the key from. Guess I'm visiting the seven seas side of the internet to get my copy back.

Not necessarily the purchase page, on the support page if you type in the game name Valfaris > it will say you had the game and its revoked. You just need to hide your Steam login.

Dev saw my steam nickname on the top right with my avatar, plus I linked steam to my discord. It's too dangerous to show the login to the public.

Steam has the authority to return your game, you just have to wait. Depends on what the publisher chooses.

Devs got hacked and the hacker now wants to get your data.
Dont send anyone details about your Games, Paying Methods or anything else.
And especially not over discord.

youre probably right. But I know for sure there is scam methods where people try to get information by saying "i accidentally reported you as a cheater, please contact this valve employee via discord"
And than its not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ valve employee.
And this sounded exactly like that.

Perhaps you have not understood the seriousness of the situation, and the principle of the very serious problem. Regardless of the fact that this editor/developer opinion seems to me on the edge of legality, what would you say if, every day at least 3/4 games of my 3500 titles/games had this problem? Am I all day interacting with emails and messages with publishers?
