Version 1.1E improves line wrapping (affecting the PRINTLINEWRAP subroutine) and parsing (affecting the PARSE subroutine).

Windowed mode has been improved. However, we still recommend fullscreen mode for best performance.

Crashing on startup

Hi, just thought I'd let you know about a bug I've found. I just tried to open Ozapell Basic and every time I got a crash on startup. The only thing I can think that might be causing it apart from a bug in the patch is that I moved my documents folder from my OS SSD to my HDD. I've tried uninstall/reinstall and deleting the Ozapell Basic folder in documents with the crashes persisting. Please let me know if you need me to send you any more information to resolve whatever bug is causing this....

Version 1.1D of Ozapell Basic includes several minor improvements and bug fixes.

Changes include fixes to the help system, improvements to all text input (but also affecting the subroutine TEXTINPUT), a fix for SWITCH/CASE statements to better support string comparisons, and a fix for a rare bug in the IF/ENDIF and IFNOT/ENDIFNOT statements that could sometimes lead to illogical results.

Shortcut for ARRAYINDEX

Version 1.1C adds a new shortcut for ARRAYINDEX.

Previously, random accessing the first entry in MYARRAY would require these lines of code:

ARRAY=MYARRAY
INDEX=0
ARRAYINDEX
MYARRAY="FIRST ENTRY"

With the shortcut, only these lines of code are required:

MYARRAY[0]
MYARRAY="FIRST ENTRY"

Standalone (EXE) App No Longer Works After Windows (10) Creators Update

I built a simple text game recently, and BUILD was used to create a standalone .exe app, and everything worked great! However, Windows Update came along and installed the new Creators Update for Windows 10 on my system. Since this happened, I can no longer run the .exe version of my app. All I get is the normal blue screen and seems frozen, standard ESC key doesn't break me out, and no other keys do anything. Must use Task Manager to kill the process to end it. I can get into Ozapell, load the app and run...
