Dredge is one of the most balanced killers

P80 Dredge main here. I love him to the moon and back but he is terribly map/RNG dependant and is rather weak against experienced survivors. Once you start getting people who know how to avoid your remnant, your anti-loop is useless and you are just a fancy looking m1 killer with teleport :')

the weak prey on the weaker, the dredge preys on on soloq survivors where youre more likely to have at least one or 2 survivors who dont know how to deal with dredge. certainly swf will still have them, but soloq does soloq things and suddenly you have 1 dead and no gens done as people hide from the dredge who isnt anywhere near them during nightfall

True but to me if you have alien instinct, discordance, sloppy butcher and nurses calling?

Those teleports go a LOOOONG way

With some add-ons finding survivors is not a problem even with no perks but catching them after it is a big problem haha. If they know what they are doing ofc. I'm in the high MMR hell rn with him and it's the sweatiest matches I've even experienced.
But survivors under 500 hours are in danger, that's true. Thanks to him being a rare killer to face, not everyone knows how to deal with him.
I dont think dredge is balance at all because knowing how to loop counter him completly he is only good against survivor that cant loop. I wish is anti loop was a bit better but its hard to do without making it a lose lose scenario for the survivor.

I've seen really strong Dredge players, but I'd still put him in the same spot as singularity... unless you capitalise on every single misstep the other side takes as well as every night event, he's very situational and map dependant. Also, specific perks for him only. He really is one of the few killers truly both add-on and aura read dependent. Just my take.
Until BHVR makes locker spawns more consistent he will still always be the second most map dependent killer in the game after Hillbilly. In a game where maps are (in my opinion) the most important deciding factor in whether a game is won or lost, he is very poorly balanced since locker spawns make him a low A tier killer on certain maps like Midwich but mid-low C tier on maps like RPD, and I get WAY more RPD offerings than Midwich offerings.

I'm also in that same hell, going up against a lot of P100s and SWFs. I have better luck just not teleporting back to the remnant at all in most cases - they end up outplaying themselves.

Coup de Grace is also a huge help in landing some hits I otherwise would never get.
I want this to be the case because he is so fun to me, but the sad truth is he is just a fancy M1 killer against High MMR survivors and struggles hard.
What can he do? He can teleport ... to lockers only.
Hag at least can teleport to survivors who triggered her trap.
That makes him a bad version of Hag and Hag herself is one of the weakest killers against survivors who know how to play the game.
He has his nightfall, but what does that do? It makes the map dark for a short period od time .... uuhhhh scary. Listening to the enviroment takes away everything nightfall does.
He can only stomp solo players when they have some new ones in the team that didnt play much against him.
