If that doesn't work then try going to documents/square enix and then delete the batman arkham asylum folder. that worked for me

Thank you guys, but unfortunately, neither of these methods worked. The game launcher just never opens.

After you installed the redists, did you restart your computer?

Indeed I did

Open the Launcher > Settings and reduce your in-game screen resolution from maximum. Overly high game resolution can inhibit the game from launching on some PCs.

The launcher never opens, that's the problem.

You're welcome. If the Launcher doesn't popup when you press Play from the Steam client, you can make a shortcut of the Launcher and start the game from there.

I'm on Win 11 as well. None of these methods are working for me . Keeps showing Microsoft .NET Framework error. Error shows that it's trying to locate a file in C:/--documents folder under the "Config" folder. Thing is I have the game on a totally different drive. Not sure why it's searching there when everything was installed on a particular drive. Can anyone help?

I just re-installed the game on Win10.

It makes it to the in-game start screen waiting for you to 'press/click start' - then crashes with a 'page segmentation fault' windows error message.

Simply enabling "Steam Cloud Save" synchronization get's rid of this particular error.

No need for Physx Legacy re-install, or any Windows voodoo shenanigans. (Works the same on Win11)

@C_SoL, it's always better to have a game installed on the same drive as Steam.

As to the error message, you may already have the older 3.5 NET Frameworks that the game needs in order to run. You can check that by opening Windows Features, or by opening a File Explorer window and type Windows Features in the upper right text field. Look for .NET Framework 3.5 and click to enable. Otherwise, click on the 3.5 Runtime installer listed above in comment #1, then restart your computer before testing the game.

This fixed the crashing at title screen for me. Cloud can be turned off again after a successful launch, and the game launches fine subsequently.
