i played half through it.
It could be great just like the other games of the creator.
Sadly a few major shortcomings are present that sour the experience to a degree where I cant give this a thumb up.

- no safe system
- every time you start the game you have to go through the hole tutorial again
- no way to skip the minute long cutscene at the start of the game
- first person view gets interrupted every time the map transitions

Answer to the devs comment that I posted on the discussion but was ignored by him:

"I think you are mistaken my intentions. Im not here to get you down, I want to make the game better. I know that you make great games. I have 28h in interior Worlds. It is the only game 100% ed and i play from time to time.

1. Please add a text to the game explaining this and the time it might take to complete. I played the game on two accasions in what little free time I have. I spent 1.5h outside the school, soaking in the scenario, solving the puzzles, and also getting a little bit stuck with the lambposte. With the text ill know that there is no safes and ill have to put aside a few hours.

2. You can see that my mistake is not malitious but stemps from me not completing the game.

3 I dont know if it is because I did not complete the game but I have not seen an Icon telling me.

I hope this finds you well and that you might improve on the game as you did with the great update for Interior Worlds.

If a disclaimer is added and an indicator that you can skip the cutscene, my review will flip from red to green."

sweet. short. silent hill type. good game

dont let the cat fool you, this is an effective and scary homage to resident evil and silent hill. the atmosphere ranging from the rainfall when you first arrive to the dread and terror you feel in the school is as good as indie horror gets. the story is simple but interesting enough to keep you wanting to know more. My only complaint is that I had a bug on one of the puzzles that almost ruined my run, but i was able to use the steam guide to get around it. Would strongly recommend for fans of horror, RE, or silent hill
