I've been playing for the past hour, and I find the game world hard to navigate due to the lack of a map eventho I am able to set waypoints with a telescope. I then went on to check some gameplay videos out of curiosity, and to my surprise everybody received a map right after they start venturing out on their boat towards their first mission. For some reason, my game doesn't have a map function, there is no "map" beside my "journal" button in the bottom right corner, and pressing "x" does nothing. Please ...

I just bught this game thrpugh steam. But it won't start, when I try to open it. any suggestions?

I've just gone back to Submerged as I wanted to play through again before buying the sequel but no matter what I do I can't bring the map up. I'm playing with an xbox controller and the X button is supposed to bring it up but it doesn't. neither does the M key on the keyboard. At the developer's suggestion I tried playing just with the keyboard, in fact I unplugged all USB devices apart from mouse & keyboard but still no map. Am I doing something wrong? I don't remember having this problem last time I play...

Just reinstalled the game on my new laptop to check out the new features from the last update, but the game would not load. I have a feeling it has something to do with Steamworks Common Redistributables. When I click play, it tries to load for a few seconds, then it stops.
