A fun roguelike and the achievements are a neat challenge and being rewarded for doing them makes them much more satisfying to get love this game and i hope for more cool content when it is possible

The game is currently in early access as I’m writing this (11/21/24) so things might’ve changed drastically since, but there really aren’t too many negatives anyway, so I don’t think it was actually necessary for the preface to begin with… I can be a little dopey at times.
here are the less than optimal is

-Unless i’m missing something,
there’s no music, and very few sound effects.

That’s a pretty big thing to leave out of a game no matter how early it is!
On the other hand, I gotta say, I only noticed it every once in a while, because the gameplay is just great!

There’s only one other complaint that I have, and that’s…

-controller support. I can’t tell if the game works with the controller because I use the xbox one, and strangely enough, there are some games that will work with only the xbox controller, but anything else doesn’t register.
My point being, the game really needs a specific controller setup that’s made by the developers (or if you really know your way around the steam input thing) because there are just too many different move sets and actions for a standard setup, not to mention the whole cursor targeting system - but I do like how the developers implemented a few options for most of the abilities! You can set some spells to auto target/fire the closest enemy, and even though I usually don’t like when you can’t directly control the direction of your attacks, at this stage of development it’s pretty much necessary - plus it’s optional, and any developer who is willing to provide us with multiple ways to play, is pretty farking awesome in my book!

long story longer, even with the issues, this is an absolute joy to play, and being that i’ve already seen 2-3 updates in the short time I’ve had it, I feel confident that the developers will see it through until it’s done.
