I hope so, there is a lot that needs attending to.

Stealth system still needs working on.

Save system is bad and needs fixing so that it functions logically (ie so that it saves progress in mission areas). Reloading saves needs to keep any found weapons instead of them just disappearing.

Some side-quests are bugged.

Graphical glitches happen in certain areas.

The game autosaves, and you can make manual saves (in certain areas). Both are glitched as they do not save all progress properly.

To be fair they have fixed some things since the start, just not all yet.

The game has been out almost 5 months.
If any other product released and was found to be incomplete and faulty legal action would follow.
The game industry is bizarre and politicians are woefully out of touch with their lawmaking.
Five months is not a terribly long time, but if you add the high game price to consideration, then the update effort is really crap.
I’m old enough to remember when games released bug free and feature complete.
crashes alot
Please note that the poster who claimed that the game "crashes alot"(Sic) doesn't own the game on Steam. I haven't had a single crash. He says he has it directly from UbiSoft and the different platforms can matter when dealing with PC games.

There are certain places, that if you are in a mission, you can't manually save. These times are rare. When you are "roaming" you can save and you will be at the place you saved at when you load the game again.

I would prefer that you could quick save at all times but the game does auto-save when important objectives are met during missions.

I see that someone who does own the game says that he has encountered bugs or graphical glitches. I will respect that different PC players can have different experiences but I have not personally encountered any obvious bug or graphical issues.

As always, the UbiSoft launcher is a pain. It would be great if they got rid of it but we all know that it will never happen.

There is another DLC coming and support hasn't ended.

By the way, this idea that games used to launch in pristine condition isn't true. There have always been patches and under some prior versions of Windows downloading patches was a nightmare. That in no way excuses the game industry from the many ridiculously buggy launches that we've all been subjected to in recent years.

Please note there are many players experiencing the same crashing and graphics glitches.

And yes it is true games use to ship in much better shape, hardly any bugs and definitely NOT crashing, but this was back in the day when we bought disks so devs couldn't patch up as easily as they can now.

You are mistaken in many ways:
First, the game came to Steam much later than on other platforms. The OP might well have it on Ubisoft platform.
Second, more than the saving, the problem is enemy respawing. How good is saving when the world restarts as if you didn´t do anything.
Third. Certainly, before internet was fast (which was most of gaming history), games had to arrive to your hands pristine. There was no posibility of improvement after purchase. Meaning: it IS possible to release a good enough version the first time.

Patching has always been done over the Internet. It was a major pain because you had to download the patch and install it manually. To get tech support, you got on the phone and talked to someone.

Games often received little to no support. There are old games on Steam and GOG that are still buggy or that have been fixed by modders. There is a reason that a lot of these old companies went out of business.

Glad that you know from YouTube or whatever that all of these people are having crashing and graphical issues. You certainly don't know from personal experience as you don't own the game.

It says right in my post that the OP says that he has it on UbiSoft. One of the issues with PC gaming is that different configurations and different setups lead to different results.

I agree with you on the save issue. I said that there are areas that you can't quick save and that I thought that it needs a quick save system. Maybe I wasn't as adamant about it as you are but not clear on the hostility.

I admit that I never used floppy disks. I did begin with DOS. Some game launches were incredibly bad even then. By the time games came on CD disks, there were patches. You had to download them and manually install.

I could provide examples of games that were so bad that they stopped selling them. It didn't help anyone who already bought it.

I can see you're new to the internet and gaming, because everything you said is wrong.
