This game's trailer video reminded me of an old series of flash games I played long ago
I can't remember the name, but you basically played as a cyborg with a very flat green helmet head who would walk forward with the same movements as here and the same arm cannon movements. In the final game, he entered a huge tank, obliterating anything in front of him, climbed a skyscraper, and fight a huge boss on teh top.

I know the description is vague, but I can't remember the name. Maybe 'Alpha'? Is this by the same person, I wonder?

I have no idea, but AFAIK the developers (Astro Port), though they have made a lot of games throughout the years, haven't made any flash/browser games.

The hell was that? Such a quick response. That sucks, though. Was one of the very first flash games I ever played. The first two games were terrible, but the third was great. At least, I thought so back then.

Unfortunately I don't know about the flash games the OP mentions.
