As if this game is some retro game you play on an emulator which it is not. I don't care if it is optional: savestates and rewinds are cancer and a reason why younger folk no longer respect older videogames. Call me a gatekeeper, but removing consequences out of videogames is what turns them into a sandbox. Literally just don't buy it lmao it's supposed to be a love letter to Shovel Knight and a way to commemorate 10 years of Shovel Knight. No one is forcing you to buy it. Another thing that it seems next to no one is considering is coding limitations. With how much the game is changed, and how old the original Shovel Knight is, I highly doubt they could have just slapped on all of these additions and still made it work.
