With the growing popularity of horror survival genre of games, Kamla is Mad Mantra's attempt at such with Indian and Hindu localization. Set in 1970s and somewhere in rural India, you play as an appointed Tantrik (priest) to perform exorcism on the newly wed but possessed Kamla inside the maze-like Haveli (palace).

While may come across as a somewhat of Granny ripoff from the outside, the game however improves upon the genre with details in its assets and lore. The voice acting, although only in Hindi, sounds excellent than expected. While the expected playtime is somewhere within an hour, you will need to be well-accustomed with the map, the spawn points and the usage of the items, and game rules before you set on one well-tried attempt. As a side note, the aesthetics of Kamla has reminded me the most of the Bollywood franchise/series, Bhool Bhulaiyya films. With the recent update, the optimization and controls also feel very smooth. All in all, Kamla is an indie horror survival game that exceeded my set expectations in almost all categories but felt wanting more for something extra gameplay and lore. 9/10, hoping to see more from Mad Mantra and other Indian devs.

it was different and first time experience for me with hindi audio in a horror game and i loved it ....it makes it more scary for indian audience....experiencing all this in ur native language...hope'll see more like this.
