For some reason GOG version has Sum 41 in the intro. I don't have Steam version but I might get it soon and then ill check out if I can somehow switch GOG files with Steam ones to restore it.

Yeah, I was really disapointed to see the musics by Sum41 and Enhancer (especially this one) were cut, as I originally played it on PS2... I really hope that there is a way to re implement these musics !

Today I was studying the Microids retail release VS this Steam version and unfortunately it is not that simple.

The video files are loose .bik files in the retail release but not in the Steam version. Both versions use these .hvp files as some sort of compressed file format but the .hvp files in the install directory do not share the same names when compared to the Steam install ones. Restoring anything that was cut in the Steam version would require extracting and repacking these .hvp files. A quick google search reveals someone once figured out how to extract the .hvp files but I have not found how they did it yet.

you can unpack the .hvp files with unhvp (google for it, you can find it on the xentax modding forum, you need to register in order to download attachments from posts),

After that, just unpack the kinepack.hvp file with it (drag and drop the hvp file on the unpacker). The first .bik file is the intro video.

We need a community patch for this if anyone ever figures it out to restore the game to the creators original release.

i was able to restore the original music/intro in the Steam version, worked fine until the game actually started (in the gym with the basketball and Kenny), it bugged and I was left at the the pause screen with Resume, Quit, etc. When I hit Resume, nothing happens

Edit : Nevermind, it's fixed, it was a problem with the control settings (use the keyboard vs controller).

Can you send me a link to the files that I need for this to take effect ?

You need the retail PC version of the game (how you get it, it's not my business), the intro video is there once you install the game, I put a small guide how to do it last week.

I can not post the file (intro video) here, I don't want trouble with Steam, it's not legal (also the file is huge)
