Dear Commanders:

NEXT FEST has successfully concluded, and we deeply appreciate everyone's participation and support. This announcement consists of three parts: honoring community contributors, responding to community feedback, and maintenance notice

Honoring Community Contributors

Video Content Creators: Participants in Steam NEXT FEST who shared videos through livestreams (or recordings), giving us the opportunity to showcase Collapsed Galaxy 2 (in its early development version) to all Steam platform players for the first time.
Community Builders: Hardcore players who helped us identify issues and improve the game through detailed topic descriptions. Some have become opinion leaders, while others, like designers (Pek provided beautiful UI mockups that sparked discussions), offered constructive feedback on UI design. Many passionate players emerged in Steam community discussions, helping other players with questions and solutions (Ayuruk has been earnestly helping others since the community's early days). We sincerely thank these players for their support, which motivates us to continue improving the product. The community's serious feedback gives us confidence in future development.

Contributor List Rules

This list will be permanently added to the game's "Credits List/Staff List" which can be found in the system menu accessed by pressing ESC in-game. Since the initial version of Collapsed Galaxy 1, a list called MeetingOnEarth.txt has been preserved in the game client files, recording a total of 1,591 community contributors who gradually joined over the past 10 years. Contributors to Collapsed Galaxy 2 will also be continuously integrated into this list.
Commanders added to the list (linked through Steam's unique ID and game data) will receive limited edition game medals in the official release (expected to be tied to Steam achievements). As these features are still being refined, please refer to the final in-game implementation and subsequent official announcements for the final presentation. The game's ultimate launch relies on everyone's encouragement, criticism, and enthusiastic support. Community contributors have brought tremendous momentum to the game, not just from the Steam community but from other channels as well. Yes, some of our in-game modifications and optimizations came from information collected through these channels: Youtube content creators' livestream/video comments, Twitch creators/comments, bilibili video community, Reddit community discussions, FB community discussions, Discord channel 44 discussions, Naver specific sections, Bahamut Shadow Special Forces section, email correspondence, and other social APP channels.

As of this article's publication: We have read or replied to 107 discussion threads from Playtest and 182 discussion threads from Demo.
We continuously monitor each new piece of feedback as important reference for development iterations. Our Reply Strategy

We are players too, and between in-depth communication and direct modification, we prioritize direct modification. Valuable feedback (or bugs) can usually be addressed within hours in most cases. We are more eager than anyone to handle these feedbacks quickly, rather than further discussing and expanding topics.
Some short-term issues we haven't responded to are because the test version only opened partial features, which will be gradually updated to complete status. For example, recent player count balance is closely related to performance optimization. Before performance optimization is completed, no matter how we adjust the player count mechanism, the discussion of the topic, no matter how profound, would hardly achieve perfect balance. Community Building Plan

We plan to open Discord to establish closer connections with everyone. As a cooperative game, we deeply understand the importance of community communication. The Collapsed Galaxy 1 community was established in 2012, predating the game's release. It was this passionate community that nurtured the birth of Collapsed Galaxy 1. Building a community requires precious development effort and proper allocation of operational resources, so we hope to launch it alongside the community after completing the game's multi-language automatic translation feature. The complete form of the translation feature will automatically translate all languages to the client's set language. For example, an English client will automatically translate other languages to English. This feature is closely tied to in-game chat, friends, instructor (mentorship), legion, faction governor, and other social systems. They must exist simultaneously and form a functional closed loop for the game to fully implement its MMO/cooperative social aspects. Urgent Adjustment: Responding to Steam Community Feedbak Correct Faction Balance

Dear Commanders:

Based on community feedback, we have decided to adjust the factions

Faction merging: The Superintelligent Industry (Green) merges into -> The Free Interstellar (Red), The Imperial Temple (Yellow) merges into -> The Council of Sages (Purple)
Faction selection is locked for the first scenario, no longer allowing selection of: The Imperial Temple (Yellow), The Superintelligent Industry (Green)
Automatic balancing when selecting factions is temporarily disabled for the first scenario
Automatic balancing when transferring factions is temporarily disabled in the Starport scenario, requiring level 100 and meeting other conditions indicated in the interface to use
Merged factions have not disappeared and can still be joined through faction transfer: The cost of faction transfer has been adjusted from 8000 uranium to free
The mercenary feature related to faction balance will be available in future updates

Resource Supplement

In the last few days before the end of the New Product Festival, we will send resource supplies to all characters who have logged into the Starport, which can be obtained even when offline
Collect from the in-game mailbox (shortcut key F7), maximum retention period of 90 days when unread

Short-term Plans

Adjust visual presentation, optimize and fix UI issues
Improve game client performance to lower the entry barrier for the game

Added support for resolutions: 2048x1152, 2880x1880
Balance has been adjusted, with initial values for attack power of all combat units modified. Depending on the unit, the reduction range is between 15% and 20%.

how sg died

many of us remember sg as a fun game, whit active battles 24/7. and then, player count went down. the issue is the same in the demo. it be very bad to repeat history. so how did sg fail... well, there was a few, realy a handfull of players who made extreme efforths to abosultely stomp any and everything. and players whit less time and involvment simply had enough of being nothing more than canon fodder. now right up till that point the game was actualy fun even if you did not have the best units etc.etc..e...

Honest feedback..

It needs a LOT of work.. Its just in a early stage. It feels like its just 20% of a full game. The map looks like a mobile game map because everything is not together.. I mean every map is splitted a bit Idk why. Lagg is understandable, because you dont have european servers. UI needs a lot of love and a complete overhaul. Why the 3D Part at the beginning? Thats a waste of time, just keep it 2D. Cheap sounds, no animations at all, no addicting music like SG. You should do a kickstarter and get some funds ...

Air units issue that needs a fix asap plz!

Whenever you bring any air unit and one die you are done for the game you cant reinforce anymore you can only CTRL+F11 to leave combat because your units are stuck dead in the map.
