TL;DR Gud game buy it

So a big theme of the original game was that it was basically a 'hot ♥♥♥♥♥ manifesto' where its entire point was to highlight where attractive women often end up being complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Every character essentially exists as a parody of the kind of people women have to deal with. Finally, in the true ending, it essentially spells out the point of the game to you, by literally having Jeffery ask the question the game is all about. "Why are you such a miserable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you are essentially blessed to always get your way and always have everyone like you".

While its lampshaded repeatedly, much of the fanbase fails to recognise that Jeffery is essentially supposed to represent the player, a nerd who plays anime styled visual novels.

Thus every single route is essentially highlighting Nicole's treatment of various types of men, and her viciously taking out her anger on them. You are supposed to cheer for her, even though her actions are extreme.

Thus it is the REJECTION sim. Nicole is the living embodiment of what every attractive woman wishes they had done as a teen, by viciously using their social power to destroy the men around them who deserve it.

The Re-Up takes this idea, and inverts it. Every single route except one now focuses on Nicole's treatment of women, with the exception focusing on the one guy in the story who probably does not deserve anything serious.

It is no longer hot ♥♥♥♥♥ manifesto.

It's now a giant display of what kind of person being a vindictive, manipulative person actually makes you. It is a gigantic commentary on all the people who looked at Nicole's behaviour in the first game and said "Yeah go girl!".

Nicole is a destructive, abusive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game who refuses to ever be cooperative, only cares about tearing others down and frequently destroys her friends as much as her enemies, because she justifies every single thing she does by deflecting at her situation with ♥♥♥♥ she doesn't even believe. Every other girl, except the one singular girl Nicole likes, has a better time than her, because they all choose to be far less of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And Nicole responds to other women doing better by tearing them down too.

It's entire thing is about showing that Nicole basically deserves the world she lives in, because she's taken a world that is hostile to her and decided to make that everyone elses problem. At every single route, you'll have a moment where you'll think "FFS Nicole stop making everything worse".

A lot of people confuse this frankly great writing for Nicole being flanderized. The whole point is that this game just shows the old saying that everything you do is everything you do. You either choose to try and be kind hearted or you choose to be a misanthrope. Defending your behaviour with ideology or justification is just words to the wind.

PS. Pro tip also, Nicole likes that guys hit on her. She shows this over and over again in both games. She just likes to complain about it and use it as justifications for violence. Just like all women who are gigantic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to other people.

You can only make the same joke so many times until it's not funny. 3rd game is also actual ass I would rather rip my eyes out with a baby spoon <3

i reccomend this to others because its a life game i really do enjoy it and i hope others will to.
