for some reason I can't go past the assembly level, at around 550 combo the enemies don't spawn anymore, nor the game transitions to the next level, is there any solution to this?

Every time I open a Chester after getting to the 'end' of survival mode, the vast majority of the time it's a blue disc piece (very rarely not), despite having four uncompleted discs. Are they random and I'm just getting unlucky, or do I legitimately need to open 16 of the things while trying to survive? Also do you lose the 'pieces' if you die before finishing a disc? Because honestly if I need to survive and open 16 more of them I might give up trying to 100% this game because whew, the end of survival m...
