Hi !
I've taken note of your workaround regarding the launch in DX11, and I wanted to thank you for sharing it !
The thread has been moved to the Player Support section of the forum, to bring it the best possible visibility.
Feel free to let us know if it helped, or if there's anything else we can help you with !

Hi there!
I am glad that it worked for you, thanks for letting us know
- Ubisoft Support
sometimes it helps to change the graphics settings and save them or reload the graphics drivers with Win key-Control-Shift -B but unfortunately not always then I have to reload the game completely
Sorry to hear you're still having some issues with this.
I'm glad that the temporary workarounds you found are helping in the meantime.
I'd recommend looking into {LINK REMOVED} this page and {LINK REMOVED} support article if you haven't already, as it provides some FAQ which might help with the FPS drops.
Let me know if you have any more questions!

Edit:
The game to us run with better fps in vulkan API, and we prefer using it vs DX11, but it crashes A LOT, sometimes right after after finishing loading the save into the game world sometimes after 10 minutes, or 20, or 30, or 1 hrs o 2hrs, seams to be completly random infact.
I go back to normal but I can't get out of Erewhon and teleporting out doesn't work.
I usually have to restart the game.
Then I had also outside on the map also already this FPS losses but there only very rarely think until now only twice.
The problem with Erewhon but very often.

Thanks for writing back to explain, I appreciate it.
So I can pass the info on, could you possibly provide a short video of your FPS drops after you leave Erewhon and how you try to teleport out?
Feel free to upload this to a file sharing site like Google Drive or iCloud or something like YouTube or Vimeo and then share the link with us here, so we can take a look.
[Easy]QuaZ Sorry to hear the articles weren't very useful to you, I appreciate you checking them regardless. It is odd that the crashes happen at random intervals for you. Does that apply to your friend as well?
If you have tried the basic {LINK REMOVED} troubleshooting steps already, I'd recommend double-checking that the game and the Ubisoft Connect launcher are both installed on your C drive and possibly test out some different resolutions (windowed etc) to see if that helps at all.
Does the issue continue, you'll need to open a support ticket via {LINK REMOVED} email , and please attach a {LINK REMOVED} MsInfo and {LINK REMOVED} DxDiag report there, so the team can take a closer look at what might be causing the crashes.
If there's any more questions, please let me know!

Yes Pegasus, the random timing apply to my friend as well but there is a different spin on in, some days it crashes right away and keeps crashing in vulkan at every subsequent lauch other days, or times it simply works in vulkan without issues, it is indeed very strange.
I'll pass along your recommandations and we'll see if it keeps behaving like that, thank you.

have now also noticed when I go back that the FPS does not normalize but only remain at 61FPS
I have G-Sync and have mostly a FPS of over 100FPS
have also tried with the settings and the Win button control Shift-B in the video has not worked there is only sometimes you have to restart the game rather.
Addendum:
the 61FPS come about because I recorded the video so has nothing to do with the bug and is normal.
When I start a recording goes directly to 61FPS and when I stop the recording I have again 139 to 145FPS
Thanks for the video, appreciate it!
As above, would you also be able to pass us your system files too so we can note these to the team also?
We're aware of and are investigating issues with the game crashing, in Vulkan specifically so this may be a biproduct of this.
Thank you!

But for me AC Valhalla goes into my almost 40 years of PC gaming in history with the game with the most crashes so a disaster I've never had.
Hey Die Hand Gottes,
I've removed your hardware post as we ideally prefer this information to be sent to us directly via system files rather than shared publicly, just for security and privacy purposes.
I've noted your specs to the team though while they investigate and we'll update here should we hear anything further.
🅳🆁_🅽🅾🆁🅴🆂 - as above and per my previous response - this issue is known and being looked into.
Thank you!
