Whether Vulkan or DX11 I lose now and then the complete FPS on 8 FPS
sometimes it helps to change the graphics settings and save them or reload the graphics drivers with Win key-Control-Shift -B but unfortunately not always then I have to reload the game completely

Yeah same here, me and a m8 I've bought the game on sale with have the exact same problem of crashing, no way is related to the vukan issues in the first link you posted Pegasus, cuz I'm using a 4090 and my mate a 3090, so plenty of gpu memory here and breakpoint its the only thing crashing :(

Edit:
The game to us run with better fps in vulkan API, and we prefer using it vs DX11, but it crashes A LOT, sometimes right after after finishing loading the save into the game world sometimes after 10 minutes, or 20, or 30, or 1 hrs o 2hrs, seams to be completly random infact.

to supplement I have no problems with the menu but my FPS usually drop to 8 FBS when I leave Erewhon would like just before the camouflage curtain.
I go back to normal but I can't get out of Erewhon and teleporting out doesn't work.
I usually have to restart the game.
Then I had also outside on the map also already this FPS losses but there only very rarely think until now only twice.
The problem with Erewhon but very often.

Yes Pegasus, the random timing apply to my friend as well but there is a different spin on in, some days it crashes right away and keeps crashing in vulkan at every subsequent lauch other days, or times it simply works in vulkan without issues, it is indeed very strange.

have now also noticed when I go back that the FPS does not normalize but only remain at 61FPS
I have G-Sync and have mostly a FPS of over 100FPS
have also tried with the settings and the Win button control Shift-B in the video has not worked there is only sometimes you have to restart the game rather.

Addendum:
the 61FPS come about because I recorded the video so has nothing to do with the bug and is normal.
When I start a recording goes directly to 61FPS and when I stop the recording I have again 139 to 145FPS
