A feature was added to big picture recently for Windows to set a preferred display to open Big Picture, and subsequently all games opened with big picture on. For some reason this feature is absent for linux distributions? I'd like to know why since its far easier to switch preferred displays on linux, just a call to xrandr. I can do that myself but it makes open big picture with a controller pointless. If you goons won't add it then just send me the source code and I'll do it myself, thanks.
