I suspect that Wayland follows an unusual protocol when determining which devices to use and has a hard time negotiating with other programs that are possibly vying for exclusivity.
For sure, I neglected to mention I'm using Manjaro Linux.

Does it make a difference if this is the only game I experience this issue in?
I had to do it for Elden Ring at one point because it would only work with my XBox controller and not my DualSense, could be a similar issue.
And even then, it should not conflict with the game in any way... what keyboard do you have?
Yes, wired. Bluetooth lags when I try to use it.
It's a Ducky One 3.
This has only happened with Sekiro out of the games I use it with. Nioh and Dark Souls 3 work fine.
Can't believe I didn't state what controller. It's a Dualsense. Steam Input is set up. It works fine in other games.
