-Saving would make it too easy
Howeverrrrrrr, it would be great if the game detected it crashed during river raids, so that you don't lose all your progress if your game crashes. This has happened to me like 4 - 5 times, which was very painful especially if it happens towards the end with your boat almost full with supplies.
That's why checkpoint saving (after a completed target, for example) would help. It strikes a balance between the two concerns: on the one hand, preventing progress loss due to clashes, and on the other hand, preventing river raids from being too easy.
Agreed. I think checkpoint saving would be a great idea.
.. looks like memory leakages to me and I guess not everybody like me own 64Gb RAM.. ><
