Romulus sucked.
Terrible, an awful movie, it is a parody of Alien.

Internet dislikes something new; I'm shocked.

I dislike it (partly) because it borrows so much from the old.

And for not being new ENOUGH! Definitely didn't see that one coming.

Do you have any actual counter-arguments? Every instance of fan-service in the movie felt insulting, not to mention they retconned the ending of Alien to where the Xenomorph doesn't die.

Fan service issues are overblown. Yes, some of the forced lines were cringy, but this was a much better film than all the recent Alien films.

Solid action horror.

It was dead, they retrieved its corpse and exacted DNA

I'd actually say this film is worse then the Ridley Scott prequel movies. This really felt like a marvel movie.

It felt nothing like a Marvel movie.

Scott films were terrible. They did absolutely nothing interesting with their new ideas, incredibly shallow, terribly written dialogue and characters, just a mess all-round.

Romulus is infinitely better.

Also, remember that this is an interquel, so Andy canonically said "Get away from her you ♥♥♥♥♥," before Ripley.
Jokes aside, what an bad line, with abhorrent delivery. It carries no power behind it.

Seriously, what a Chimera Abomination of a film.
The setting of Alien 3.
The (botched) action of Aliens.
The Black goo from Prometheus.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ newborn from Resurrection.
And the ending from Alien, with Andy in place of Jonesy.

Seeing who the director / writer is and how the movie poster looks like for a generic horror, I'm not surprised it's rubbish.

It's not rubbish. A vocal minority of fans are up in arms, that's all. I think they have some valid critiques, but the idea this relatively small amount of people speaking on a film dictate its objective quality is hilariously stupid.

It's not rubbish just because a vocal minority of fans are up in arms.
You're right, it's rubbish on it's own merits, regardless of popular opinion.

Just back from seeing it, It's miles better than Prometheus and Covenant. Excellent movie imo.

Sorry white, but your arguments are vapid and your taste awful.

If you want something truly vapid, re-watch Alien: Romulus. What could be more empty then the Alien Franchise regurgitated into one massive disgrace of a film?
