Youngest age this game is 'OK' for?
Would love to play through this game with my daughters, but don't know how the themes and events really play out. Don't want to introduce the game to them and then turn around and say "We're not playing this anymore" because of content.

Without notable spoilers, What age do you think should be the lower bound for players/spectators?

I think providing their age range might influence some sort of "bias" in responses, so I wont be including that. But also know that I'm OK with waiting a few years to play it when it becomes more appropriate or when they'll have more fun with it.

Edit: I HAVE played it a "little bit" but not enough to get a real look at what is in store and how appropriate it might be for their age.

Thanks for anyone who's able to give me some insight!

I would say 13+ is a reasonable lower bound, assuming that said 13 year olds are into horror as a genre.

There's a fair amount of realistic gore depicted in the game (albeit illustrated), though how much you see is going to vary depending on the choices you make. It's possible you'll see very little, and it's possible you'll see quite a bit.

There are also heavy existentialist themes in the story, but the game should still be accessible and enjoyable even if the players don't connect with those themes.

Got it, Thanks for the insight!

My kids are very into horror games so I think this might eventually be right up their alley.
gore and death and some LIGHT and RISKE scenes but no full nudity..... probs 13 or so.

also has some rather Existential points in it but the game is still funny and user friendly even if you dont particularly connect well with that.

more then that its quite....gruesome...at times but if you are okay with horror movies like scream then you will be more then fine.
