Knowing the customers of the next day would be great in real life, too xD

At the end of the work I am taking a glance at the menu to spot how many dishes are left. Maybe that would help. Somethimes I miss this point of the last customer sitting in the restaurant, so implementing the number of served dishes of the eavening would be nice.

afaik cant you just set the dishes to 1 and auto supply? sure you lose the one dish at the end of the day but that becomes less and less important the more dishes you serve.

but yhe showing the amount of customers that came in last time would be nice.

It's about 40 people on a full day and 28 on a day that you night dive. When in doubt, make about 30 on a full day and 20 on a day that you night dive. Increase by 5 dishes when it's down to 1 on the menu, since the game pauses when you add to the menu.

I am diamond and get 45 every full night, even on parties.

I took the Numbers from a guide. I am Gold right now and make ~26 dishes which fits good.

Diamond is 45.

I think they all have a range. Not sure of the early ranks but Diamond is 42-45. Platinum I think is 32-36.

Not really a range if your staff is high enough level. At staff level 15, diamond will be 45 customers every single time.

If you put in slow chefs and wait staff, you might see fewer total customers, as well as have some unhappy customers.

If the number of customers was actually random and variable like it is in real life, I'd be fine with the current system. You have to legitimately do risk vs reward when deciding how much to prepare each day.

The fact that the number of customers is exactly the same every day I view as a legitimate design flaw. It just encourages looking up what that number is rather than feeling organic.

Can't you just use auto supply? I thought that was intended to be used so that you never really waste resources?

Auto supply works best for sushi dishes which have one serving per "prepped" portion, but that doesn't work well when you transition later to dishes that have 6-10 servings. If you prep wrong, you can wind up with a lot more waste.

I actually wondered if weather was a factor, like events are...? I came here just to find this info; just upgraded to Platinum, which I really can't afford, because my Shark Party is right now....but I thought for sure I'd get more staff slots to help out with the extra customers. That is definitely NOT the case. Why?! Now pay G2000/night, but have no extra help for the extra customers? How is that fair? I've been hoarding boss dishes for this because I sorely need to upgrade my gear, farms, etc, and now I'm reticent to use them as I believe they will be wasted now, to some degree. Should I be using the cocktail guy for this, or go back to the high appeal girl? I'm so confused.

You are expected to upgrade your staff which assists with how quickly they server the customers which should almost eliminate your issue if you continue to upgrade them. At level 7 or 8 they mostly serve the customers and I just help out by cleaning or doing drink orders and haven't had any issues since upgrading them. Pay attention to.. I think its the serve skill (not sure if thats the name) but it speeds them up. Hope that helps :)

Thank you; I had been doing that earlier, but the price goes up exponentially every training session. I definitely played this game all wrong, as I'm just about to open up the door in the vents, and still struggle to make money at night. I didn't know that serving that roll when you run out was bad, etc etc etc...I did just upgrade to Platinum, but my costs are G 3000/day now; I don't make much more than that. I may have made a huge mistake, so have an old save to go back to, if it goes badly tonight.
