Amount of content being developed?

I played the demo and really loved it, but I'm seeing a lot of reviews that explain that there's far to little content to stay interesting. From my experience in the demo, I could 100% see how that would be the case for this game, unfortunately. I haven't been following the game. How does the community of folks actively playing feel about the content and and especially since release? Is it looking like this game is going to get the content updates it needs to be worth its price tag?...

Cloud save not working

Hi, I just played a few campaign missions on my PC, quit the game (Steam says it's synchronizing to the cloud and is up-to-date), then tried to continue on my laptop. Even though it also says there that it's synchronizing and up-to-date with the cloud, my campaign progress isn't taken over, I have to start at 0. Both devices are on Windows, in case that matters. PC Win 10, laptop Win 11....

Bugs in the Tutorial/Campaign

Seen two so far. #1) Brute died in fight and then could not be recalled as needed in the next item to do. Had to wait a number of turns to get another brute to finish it. #2) My Mercs are not hostile when gold was removed and I can not curse them to kill them to do that item in the list. I keep spinning turns and moving them around and have 0 gold to do anything else....

Run lost due to RNG (maybe?)

I just lost a Cernunnos run. One of my 3 objectives was to raise my shrine's HP to 20 or more. I looked through all the cards, used research, breakthrough etc. and only after my run failed I found a single card (in the deck edit option while setting up a new run) that could do that: Cernunnos' "Healing Roots" However, for the whole 20-year run I wasn't offered that card a single time... Did I overlook something? Are there other cards that can strengthen buildings (not just repair them)? I think I searched...

Hey everyone, I just have a few bug fixes for this week:

Bug fixes

Fixed a bug with Mercenaries that would sometimes cause them to not attack enemies if they were going to be unpaid on the next turn
In the first campaign tutorial, it was possible to navigate to the resource icons using a controller before they were visible - this has now been disabled until those icons are all present
Fixed the bug where the word “Redraw” would appear even if the redraw button is not visible

"Quit game" misunderstanding

Might be a localization issue, but in German when I go to the pause menu during a campaign game, I can either "quit game" or "go back to main menu". I thought in both cases it would save (since there is no explicit save possibility) and I can either go back to the main menu to play something else or quit the game to save and close the game completely (ending my play session). Unfortunately "quit game" did actually not save and exit the game. Maybe instead of "Spiel beenden" call it "Spiel aufgeben" or "Spi...

Here's the updates for this week:

Balance changes

In the 2nd Acan campaign mission, “Paid in Blood”, reduced the amount of food and gold that is needed to be gained from playing rituals to 20
In the same campaign mission, increased the likelihood of finding the gold ritual card in the Harvest Shop
Increased the starting food for the above level too

Bug fixes

If multiple Research Libraries generate a Discovery card on the same turn, they now increase the research cost by the correct number of steps - once per Discovery card generated - instead of once in total
When placing a Gladiator School next to an Amphitheatre and adding and removing workers via clicking on the buildings, the gold lost of gained per turn was not immediately updated to reflect the correct amount - this has been fixed
Fixed the bug in the campaign mission “Seasons of Fire”, in which the boss wouldn’t spawn until wave 11 instead of wave 6
