We have just shipped an updated Steam Deck Client to the Preview/Beta channel.

General

Discovery Queue: Smoothed out user experience and brought up to date with recent changes to web version.
Fixed brightness slider (HDR) in Quick Access Menu

Added Nintendo Switch controller configurations to the options shown by default for the Wireless HORIPAD for Steam so that gyro configurations are more easily found
Fixed an issue where previewing a configuration, then editing your original configuration could corrupt it
Made the "Choose a Configuration" page remember which tab you were on when returning from previewing a configuration
Made the "Choose a Configuration" page remember the setting to show/hide configurations from other controller types
Fixed a crash in Drill Core when Steam Input is enabled with a gamepad config

Problem with charge

I have a problem with charging the steam deck, basically (using a watt meter) normally the steam deck when turned off has a consumption of about 25w but stops at about 10w with both a third-party charger and with the original charger then randomly while I play (I don't know at what point) the wattage returns to full power and as soon as I turn it off it goes to 25w instead of 10w, has anyone had the same problem? does anyone know how to solve it? thanks to anyone who can give me support....

ayer iba a jugar y se me olvido que deje el steam deck prendido, cuando regrese estaba apagado se me hizo raro pero pensé que se había bloqueado solo, hoy que estoy intentado jugar con el no prendía para nada ni la luz LED al lado del botón de encendido, la ♥♥♥♥ a cargar porque pensé que le faltaba batería, se encendió luego luego y me marca que la batería esta llena la desconecte y se apago luego luego, la volví a conectar y paso lo mismo, eh estado buscando como solucionar el problema pero hasta...

Is it normal for the deck to pull 8-9 Watts just running the OS?

My Steam Deck’s battery life feels like it has greatly diminished in the last 2 months and I’m not sure why. I’ve noticed that just being on the home screen the deck seems to be pulling 8-9 watts. Running a lightweight game that pulls 1.5 w from the GPU and 0.5 w from the CPU I feel like I should be getting more playtime than I am. Can anyone else tell me if this is normal or not?...
