Just throwing some numbers out there. The dev team seems to only have made 2 games. I heard the publisher was not happy with those numbers. So i listed the other games from other dev teams so we can see the numbers the publisher was looking for. Numbers do not tell the whole story but its something to look at.
This also shows that 2 months ago they intended to make a sequel rather than closing shop.
I don't know. My previous post contains ALL the info I have on the sequel, so that's next to nothing.
Yea, Its just how many game makers make their money now. Mount and blade then mount and blade warband was just mount and blade but with some added features. There are alot of games in that time that released a "new" game that was just the old game with a extra feature. So this isnt a new tactic its just becoming more widely used.
The parts of the game that would need work, the campaign the maps etc. aren't really "in play" for that long, and I suspect most players just went for the base building and infinite runs - which is where the game shines.
The multiplayer.. it sucks, but then even if it worked, it would just be something a friend joins to talk smack, there's literally nothing to do after your base wipes out everything. Even in single player you're mostly just standing there looking at guns go brrrr - which, I find extremely satisfying, don't get me wrong, but that's about it.
