Coast map?
In one of the last missions, another map after city ruins is mentioned.
Something like "Prestine Coast" or similar.

Now spoiler warning, if you did not finish the kampaign yet.

Yet this location does not seem to be in the game and instead the end does not really feel like an end. You do not even fight Cirus in the campaign, so there seems to be missing quite a bit.
Somebody mentioned, that the last chapter of the story was cut from the game because of development troubles but I did not find anything about this. Neither if the story ending will still be added or not.
Does someone have information about this "Coast" map?

It is not coming. What you were told is 'correct' (I am unsure if it was trouble, budget, or design that cut it)
Ah, shame.
Feels unfinished like this :(

Thanks for confirmation though.
I am being told the studio that made this game is going out of business. I havent got any information to confirm that. In any case the challenge maps I believe is what the final map was planned to be. Its what was the parts of the last area they had done they just put into a endless mode for us instead of cutting it completely. When you see the challenge mode you see how good the last map was going to be and how much was removed from the game. I would like to see a DLC or a 2nd game to finish up the story but if the studio is going under we wont even see that. I am like everyone else here and want more of this game thats why I bought the upgraded version of it. With all that being said. We are going to get a few more bug fixing updates that then its a complete game.

I hope you find this information useful.
game is now unfinished and won't be getting finished we were sold game and promised it would actualy get an end later - the end is now never going to come
I would dearly love to know why the studio is going under - if this is true/confirmed? - and why this seems to happen so often. If this is true I'm sad that all we get of this game is what we have now - it was great so far!
steamdb has this listed.

Just throwing some numbers out there. The dev team seems to only have made 2 games. I heard the publisher was not happy with those numbers. So i listed the other games from other dev teams so we can see the numbers the publisher was looking for. Numbers do not tell the whole story but its something to look at.
@OP: this has been posted by an official on the game's discord server, in the announcement section, dated november 4th, 2024:
1.Will devs ever be able to make the Lighthouse area unlocked?
Due to the huge workload of making a new area, the lighthouse area has been cut. Some of the contents originally planned for this area has been distributed into the existing four areas instead.
[...]
5.Will devs continue the main story-making?
The main storyline of this game has already ended, but the story under the same setting will continue in our sequel.
So nope, we aren't getting the 5th map, nor the end of the story.

This also shows that 2 months ago they intended to make a sequel rather than closing shop.
I would have liked a DLC instead of a sequel so I could carry my base over.....do you know if they are going to do the TW war hammer thing where each sequel will add to the base game? Atleast we will get more of the game to play. So this isnt bad news.

I would have liked a patch rather than a DLC. Tbh I hate "full" games that come with an incomplete campaign and do heyy if you want the end that's a separate purchase! Feels like being duped, baited, then milked.

I don't know. My previous post contains ALL the info I have on the sequel, so that's next to nothing.

Yea, Its just how many game makers make their money now. Mount and blade then mount and blade warband was just mount and blade but with some added features. There are alot of games in that time that released a "new" game that was just the old game with a extra feature. So this isnt a new tactic its just becoming more widely used.
I don't think there's much sense in making the last area, the campaign is something you do while you do your loot runs and I suspect the data reflects that:

The parts of the game that would need work, the campaign the maps etc. aren't really "in play" for that long, and I suspect most players just went for the base building and infinite runs - which is where the game shines.

The multiplayer.. it sucks, but then even if it worked, it would just be something a friend joins to talk smack, there's literally nothing to do after your base wipes out everything. Even in single player you're mostly just standing there looking at guns go brrrr - which, I find extremely satisfying, don't get me wrong, but that's about it.
Thats because all we got was a long tutorial. The 5th area was going to be the real game. The challenge maps I believe was going to be one part of the 5th area. The way the game was setup there was going to be so much more planned. You can see the outline of a great game but all of that got cut. So the good stuff that we thought was planned that was going to make this game great was cut. I dont know what path this game would have taken if it was completed but I believe they where going for a 4v4 team battle in the challenge map with a base that could move from area to area. plus more enemies, like the bugs that had been added, and the final boss. many games have grand plans and are never finished. So this isnt the first game that had to cut back.

I don't see anything grand here. There is an interesting concept and honestly below mediocre realisation. Even if the game wasn't cut, you wouldn't see grand stuff you are dreaming about. Unpolished diamond requires an experienced jeweler to properly cut it into perfection. I don't see such Jeweler here. It would turn in a "more zones, more story more enemies" among half working mechanics and bugs.
From what I understand the Publisher forced the developers to release the game before they were ready. Because of that the game was incomplete at launch and got review bombed. Its incredibly annoying. The publishers ruined what could have been a huge money maker because the game is fantastic and I can only imagine what it would have been like if it had been released correctly. It boggles my mind when publishers just throw money away doing this garbo. Just let them get it done first the money will be there.
