Extremely good. If you're a completionist, and you definitely should be if you're getting this game, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking notes, either physically or on your computer. Your cursor looks a little different when you hover over something that requires an item to interact. Carefully scan each complex-looking area with your cursor to make sure you don't miss secrets, because I promise, you will. Even if you resort to walkthroughs, as I eventually did on many Chapters, you will still leave this game very satisfied in the end. Thank you Mr. Skutnik, you really outdid yourself on this one. This was far more than just a remaster. Good luck getting all of the achievements, guys. It's work.

This is the best point & click game I have ever played.

Submachine has exceptional visual design and atmosphere, but unfortunately the puzzles slowly deteriorate in quality. The very last chapters have you mashing clues together, Monkey Island-style, until you finally figure out that the square peg goes in the round hole because a bit of paper somewhere talked about the beauty of change. It's a sad disappointment for such a gorgeous game.
