Amazing game. a perfect example of simplistic design with a deep, punishing gameplay.

It is not a 4x game, and that is actually great as those tend to be bogged down in unnecessary minutia that doesnt ultimately matter, losing the strategy part to some weird simulationism. Strategy is problem-solving, not "when isometric and in space". Buy it, it is great.

Some tech seems broken, game becomes really easy after you achieve it, but it is not an issue since you either get it in the end of the run just to finetune the last bits or you built a science based build, in which case congratulations you found a solution to your problem, which is the point of the game. Again, this is not an ant colony gazing 4x.

Since its a positive review and it is clear i wholeheartedly recommend it i will focus on some negatives.

Credit balance - once you are over the initial threshold of not having money to build (couple of years), you never care about money again, as you can not spend them fast enough. Maybe i need to up the difficulty even more, idk.

Game does not work in touch interface. You need a keyboard and a mouse, which is either completely irrelevant to people or completely takes away their ability to play.

A slick puzzle game that is relaxing, rewarding, and challenging. It feels incredibly satisfying when it all starts to click, and found zero bugs or anything so far. Good graphics, good music, really really solid little game, Love it!

A relaxing, turn-based puzzle-ish 4X-ish game with enough depth to keep you theorycrafting your way to galactical harmony.
