That being said, I wish more games were inspired by the character upgrade system in this Final Fantasy II.
Use Osmose to replace your MP. Fight Wizards to get the spell. I never buy potions. As my game stands, I have max Gil.
I really enjoy the leveled system in this game, but it is somewhat frustrating that some spells stop adding effectiveness with level and simply increase the cost. Things like Esuna/Basuna/Aura after level 8 are just wastes of MP.
