Very hostile to new players. There will be no safe space for you, 90% players you meet outside city gates will try to murder you and you will lose your stuff. Starting out is rough. You can start out and join a guild and that will mitigate a lot of hardships for you but most new players dont want to do that. Well there you go.
Even then, the game takes hours to get anything done. If you only have an hour or so to jump on, you end up not even bothering.
kinda like that
well, aslong as you stay away from everyone and dont trust anyone youlld be fine, mostly. just like in real life

depends on where you start. basically if you move from the starting area haven to moh ki you are moving to an area that is overall friendly to new players and ppl there are in general very helpfull. there is currently a local war going on but the guilds involvled still all try to maintain this attitude for the area.
overall it's still worth it i'd say, if you played rust already i doubt this one will feel harsh...while there is those ppl that kill anyone no matter there is overall still a good part of the community that is overall friendly :) the game overall is making it a little too easy for those PK players but still one of it's kind if you ask me :)
i would recommend moh ki for starters. you will have a kinda good time there. i mean, as good as your time can be in a full loot pvp game as a solo player. you will still die ^^
